websites.
A website that speaks the same language as your sign. Fast brochure websites, readable on mobile and available in French, Dutch and English. Built on the same identity as your printed material and your vehicles.
What sets us apart is what comes before the website: we already know your brand guidelines, because we are the ones putting them on your signs and your vehicles. The website is not an interpretation of your identity, it is one more expression of it: same colours, same typefaces, same tone.
Technically, we favour static websites: every page is a file served directly, with no database to query on each visit. It is faster, better indexed, and it does not break down on a Friday evening. When your content has to change often, we add an administration interface that rebuilds the site on publication.
Multilingual support is planned into the structure, not bolted on afterwards: every page exists in the three languages, with the tags that tell search engines which one to serve to whom.
from framing to going live.
questions we are asked.
What do you take care of, and what stays with us?
We take care of the design, the page layouts, the build and the launch, with your identity applied from the logo to the colours. You supply the substance: what you sell, to whom, your existing texts, your photographs where you have them, your contact details. The exact split is written into the quotation, item by item, so no task is left without an owner.
Will the site look like our signage and our vehicles?
Yes, and that is the starting point of the work. The site takes its logo, colours and typography from the brand guidelines, exactly as the façade or the side of a van does. A customer who has seen your van go past should find the same company on screen. If the guidelines do not exist yet, we set them first, since the site is one application among others.
What content do we need, and what if we do not have it?
At the very least: a description of what you do, your contact details, and enough material to illustrate each page. Content is what holds up a launch most often, far more than the technical side. If your photographs cannot be used, we say so before starting rather than discovering it halfway through. Your existing texts can be reworked with you.
Once it is live, can we make changes ourselves?
Yes, provided the site is built for it, and that question is settled before we start, because it changes the way the site is made. Either you edit your own text and photographs, which has to be planned from the outset, or you send the changes to the studio. Who makes the updates, and on what terms, appears in the quotation. It is the question people forget to ask.
Who looks after hosting and the domain name?
The domain name stays in your name. It is your address, and it should never belong to a supplier. If you already have one, we use it. Hosting, the security certificate and the email addresses are settled in the quotation, according to what already exists on your side. Always ask to hold your own access details, here as anywhere else.
