It all starts with digitising: your logo has to be translated into stitches, with concrete decisions about gradients, fine lines and small type that cannot be rendered in thread. It is a job to be done once, properly. After that the file will serve you for years.
Embroidery withstands industrial laundering, which makes it the default choice for hospitality, technical trades and anything washed at high temperature. The trade-off is thickness: on very light fabric, printing remains the better option, and we will say so.
We keep your embroidery file and your thread colours. A repeat order of ten polo shirts six months later comes out identical to the first.

People keep mentioning digitising my logo. What is that exactly?
Digitising turns your logo into stitching instructions: the order of the areas, the direction of the stitches, the density, and the details to simplify or remove. A drawing cannot be embroidered as it stands, so it has to be translated. The work is done once. The file is then kept from one order to the next and reused as it is.
My logo has a gradient and a strapline in small type. Will that work in embroidery?
A gradient does not work, because thread is a solid colour. It is replaced by a block of colour, or by a run of distinct shades. The strapline depends on its height once stitched: below a certain size the letters fill in and stop being readable. We show you the result before the run starts, with a simplified version of your logo for textile use where that is needed.
My garments are washed every day. Will the embroidery hold up?
It will, because the design is stitched into the fabric, not laid on its surface. It does not peel and it does not crack. That is why it is chosen for clothing worn and washed every day, in hospitality as much as in the technical trades. The thread ages with the garment. Wash the garments inside out, which protects the raised stitching.
I already have my jackets. Can you embroider on them?
Yes, in most cases. The item is examined first, since a lining, a pocket or a seam too close to the intended position can stop the embroidery frame from being fitted. Some technical fabrics keep the mark of the needle. We tell you before starting, and where there is any doubt we ask for one piece to test on, rather than risking your stock.
What can be embroidered on a cap?
The front above all, since it is the most visible panel and the flattest. The sides and the back can be embroidered too, on a smaller scale. The shape of a cap, curved and closed, limits the usable area and rules out wide or highly detailed designs. A compact logo, with no fine text, comes out cleanly. We adapt your logo when it does not suit as it stands.
